In our Los Angeles studio, we recently painted a custom sculpture for UGG that was created out of a bunch of the brand’s shoe boxes. We also created a second graffiti wall with the phrase “Fashion Baby” as part of this project. Spray paint was the ideal medium to cover all the intricate angles of the sculpture and it was definitely a challenge! However, it all came together as a beautiful piece in the end! In addition to the graffiti artwork, we provided video documentation for the client. The pieces were used as a display piece at a conference and also photographed to be used as design elements for their products. Check out the completed work below:
One of our artists Jurne recently worked with Nvidia on a custom graffiti mural in the cafe of their Silicon Valley office. The concept was a graffiti piece with the saying “Color Outside The Lines” with accents colors pulling from the brand. We also recently worked withGensler (who designed the Nvidia Silicon Valley headquarters) on the new New York Mastercard Office! Check out some images of the Nvidia mural below:
We recently worked with Acid Cigars to create a live graffiti art piece by Self Uno for a launch event of their new product at the Bardot in Los Angeles. The canvas was 4×8 feet and made up of 32 x 12″ squares that were given away at the end of the night.
“On Thursday, Mirrored Media teamed up with ACID Cigar to throw a private launch party for the newest ACID cigarillos. Friends, family, and tastemakers throughout Los Angeles came to the Bardot for an evening of food, cocktails, and special live performances by Fantastic Negrito and Wale. As the Bardot quickly reached capacity, guests were also surprised with photo opportunities, a live graffiti artist, a DJ set from William Lifestyle, gift bags, and booths throughout the venue with free samples of ACID’s newest line of cigarillos. We are excited to experienced ACID cigarillos through such a memorable party!” (http://www.mirroredmedia.com/2015/08/14/fantastic-negrito-and-wale-kick-off-acid-cigarillo-party/)
GraffitiUSA was honored to participate in an awesome project in LA recently in collaboration with the Britdoc Foundation. For the 2016 Doc Impact Award (celebrating the documentary films that have made the greatest impact on society,) we helped announce the five winners via a filmed graffiti piece in an abandoned Los Angeles warehouse. We watched all of these films for inspiration for the pieces and highly recommend them all! Also, they did an amazing job on the production of this short clip below. They were a wonderful organization to work with and we hope to collaborate more in the future. Please share!
Earlier this year, we worked with Swisher Sweets on their 2016 “Swisher Sweeties” calendar shoot in Los Angeles. The artwork was painted by LA based artist Self Uno. Check out some photos of the piece along with some of the final shots with the models.
Here’s a behind the scenes video from the photo shoot:
We are excited to partner up with Elan Amirav D&A / Taboola again to add some unique touches to their brand new downtown Los Angeles office! In the past, we have created murals for their New York offices. For this installation, since the client was already moved into the office, we made sure to protect everything possible that would get any kind of overspray on it. You can see some of the extensive prep work done to make sure we did a very clean and professional job. We were excited with the results and hope to continue working with them more as they grow into other cities. Check out some photos of the completed installations below.
“Taboola is surfacing your articles, slideshows, and videos to the right users, on the most innovative publishers in the world, and inviting them to click and consume it on your site, YouTube channel, or micro-site.”
